RE2 Manipulator Arm Featured in CBRNE Testing Video

RE2's manipulator arm technology is featured in this video taken during recent robotics testing at the Muscatatuck Urban Training Center, Ind., Aug. 6-7. The ultimate goal of the testing is to employ "more robotics and less personnel" for Hazmat operations requiring sample collection in hot zones. Soldiers assigned to the 20th Support Command (chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear and high-yield explosives or CBRNE) tested an advanced ground sample collection platform which included the RE2 BS5 Manipulator Arm which hasa reach of more than 9 feet, lift over 100 pounds, and is easily modified to interface with sampling equipment.
