Controller

RE2 has an exciting opportunity for a Controller to join our small corporate finance and accounting team. If you have the energy and mindset of an entrepreneur, plus experience in both accounting and finance, we would like to talk to you about joining our team.

Position requirements:

  1. B.A. in Business, Accounting or Finance with a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience (Master’s degree preferred)

  2. Experience with GAAP based accounting methods

  3. Experience in preparing financial projections

  4. U.S. Citizenship or permanent residency in order to comply with government contracts

Electrical/Controls Engineer

RE2 has an exciting opportunity for an electrical/controls engineer who has a fire for technology and making the impossible possible. In this position, you will have the opportunity to contribute your expertise in any number of ways. From the development of printed circuit boards (PCB) specifications and test plans, to the actual design of multi-layer PCBs to move our technology to the forefront of industrial and robotic automation.  Through the utilization of standard and advanced electrical lab equipment, we’ll rely on you to validate and troubleshoot motor controllers, sensor systems, and embedded computing to ensure performance measures meet desired customer outcomes.

You will need to be skilled in system interconnects and electrical architecture development. But, while top-notch technical skills are important, what we value most is a passion for making the world a better place and ability to work closely with our highly-diverse team to create something amazing.

Position requirements

  1. Bachelors Degree in electrical engineering or related field with a Minimum of 3 years’ of work experience

  2. Expertise writing PCB level specifications, test plans and electrical board design using Altium Designer

  3. Experience working in a lab environment using oscilloscopes, function generators, fine pitch-soldering equipment, multi-meters, etc.

  4. U.S. Citizenship or permanent residency in order to comply with Government Contracts

Software Engineer: Motion Control

Do you have a passion for robotics and a skill for motor control optimization? If YES, RE2 Robotics has a role that might be a perfect fit for you. RE2’s manipulation systems are highly dexterous and easy to control, with precise and repeatable motion. This is where the motor control expertise becomes critical.

Position Summary

The Software Engineer: Motion Control works in a cooperative team environment with electrical engineers, mechanical engineers, software engineers, designers and technicians to design, analyze, and test next generation robotic systems. At a fundamental level, the following requirements are absolute for this position.

Position requirements

  1. Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or Computer) or Computer Science with a minimum of seven (7) years of engineering work experience in electro-mechanical mechanism development and implementation in a hands-on/applied environment

  2. Experience with motion control system design, modeling, simulation and analysis for electro-mechanical designs using brushless motors and feedback sensors

  3. Experience in the design of motion control algorithms in C

  4. U.S. Citizenship or permanent residency in order to comply with Government Contracts

Position Summary

The Software Engineer: Trajectory Planning will be responsible for developing algorithms to plan manipulator trajectories for use in a variety of products and projects. This position requires someone who can learn, develop, dream up and apply novel techniques for problems focused on controlling robotic manipulators. Candidates must possess the following in order to apply.

  1. M.S. or B.S. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or other related field

  2. Minimum of 2 years of industry work experience in artificial intelligence and/or motion planning

Computer Vision Engineer
