Mark DeLouis, Chief Scientist, joined re ,
Inc. in January 2005 as the company's Chief Scientist. In this
role, Mark plans and oversees the design and development of the
company's unmanned systems R&D. Mark initially joined the
company in 2002 as a contract robotics engineer. During his tenure,
Mark has provided worldclass mechanical and robotics engineering
expertise for numerous unmanned air and ground vehicle projects,
including DARPA's PerceptOR program and the Army REF Advanced
Robotic Controller program.
Prior to joining re ,
Mark worked for 15 years as a Principal Robotics Engineer for Carnegie
Mellon's Robotics Institute. Mark has recently been included on
a U.S. patent related to robotics. In addition to his years of engineering
experience, Mark is a licensed Federal Aviation Administration Airframe
Powerplant Mechanic.
