RE2 Robotics to Exhibit at Ground Robotics Capabilities Conference & Expo
NDIA’s premiere robotics conference to be held in Springfield, Virginia on March 2-3, 2016

PITTSBURGH, PA – February 11, 2016 – RE2 Robotics, a leading developer of mobile robotic manipulator arms, announced today that it will be exhibiting at the Ground Robotics Capabilities Conference and Expo (GRCCE) on March 2-3, 2016 in Springfield, Virginia. GRCC&E is sponsored by the National Defense Industrial Association (NDIA). RE2 Robotics will be exhibiting in booth #201. Several of the Company’s interoperable robotic manipulator arm and intuitive controller technologies will be on display during the event.

The theme for this year’s conference is “Realizing the Robotic & Autonomous Systems Vision.” The purpose of the 2016 Ground Robotics Capabilities Conference & Exhibition is to provide a forum for Industry and Government stakeholders to engage in honest dialogue to determine how to realize the robotics and autonomous systems vision across all Services of the U.S. military. Over 200 senior defense professionals from government, industry and the military are expected to be in attendance at this year’s conference.

Ground robotic and autonomous systems, rapidly adopted during the Afghanistan and Iraq wars, have enabled the U.S. and its allies to operate more effectively, efficiently, and safely in a variety of mission profiles, such as Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD), Combat Engineering, and Reconnaissance. These proven capabilities have secured a path for ground robotics’ future alongside the Warfighter.

“We look forward to participating in NDIA’s premiere ground robotics conference,” stated Jorgen Pedersen, president and CEO of RE2. “By bringing together industry leaders, service members, DoD agencies, government labs, material developers, and combat developers we are able to effectively engage in conversations to determine how to realize the robotic and autonomous systems vision for the Defense industry.”
